We stayed at the KOA Madras/Redmond so I could attend the class at Sisters. It is long drive every morning(7:00) but the views of the valley and mountains was unbelieveable. I like to get to class early(8:00) to get checked in and set up(class started at 8:30. The campground was great. We had a end site with great views of the valley and mountains(Mt Hood and Mt Jefferson). My husband Wayne and Maddie our golden retreiver drove me both days. They went to see the sights and shopping at Home Depot and Lowe's. We stayed from Wednesday July 6-July 9 but didn't attend the quilt show.The parking for the 5th wheel was a long ways from the show and had to take the shuttle. It was going to be alot cooler day for the show than in past years but would have to leave Maddie in the truck with possible no shade. I came to Sisters to attend the 2 day class only.
