Strawberry Hill Quilt

Strawberry Hill Quilt

I have wanted to make my sister-in-law a quilt for a long time. This was the perfect time to make a quilt for her because she needed a comfort lap quilt made with love from her family. I found a postcard pattern called Blueberry Hill made by Villa Rosa Designs and had a jelly roll of batiks called Watermelon. I decided to call the quilt Strawberry Hill. I used a Anne Bright design called Cotton Candy and thread was Superior Thread King Tut called Harem. I found the border fabric at Center Diamond Quilt store in Cannon Beach, OR. It matched a fabric in the quilt. I'm going to give the quilt to her when she comes out here the week of Thanksgiving. She didn't want to see it until then and said it was ok to post on my blogs. I'm excited to give it to her next month. Here are pictures of the quilt.

Fall Table Topper

I made a table topper for my table in the living room. I used a pattern called Center Stage by Pieced Tree Patterns. I have several fall fabrics so made it with the pumpkins/vines. I love the colors in it. It is great that I can put table toppers and runners on my quilt machine. Here are a few pictures of it.

Santaim Quilt Show

Santiam Quilt Show

Last Sat, I went to the Santiam Quilt Show in Lebanon. My friend, Martha was the featured quilter. We meet thru our quilting blogs. We are RN and our husbands are retired teachers. Martha is a very talented quilter and uses her domestic machine to quilt. I really enjoyed the show and seeing Martha. Here are a few pictures of her display at the show:

Riley Blake "Priscilla" by Lila Tueller

I love anything with or made with "Priscilla". Riley Blake Fabric came out this June with a fabric called "Priscilla" which was design by Lila Tueller. I saw on Lila BlogSpot that she was having a giveaway of a charm pack of "Priscilla" fabric. The person that won it never Emailed her back so I asked if she was going to draw another name. She decided to give it to me since my name was Priscilla. I was so excited to get it from her. I made a quilt and adapted a pattern that I saw in Fons and Porter Quilting Quickly. I found more fabric online since I haven't found any in the quilt stores here. Here are pictures of my "Priscilla" Quilt.
