Customer Quilt
I had a lady call to quilt 2 quilt tops that her aunt made several years ago. The quilt size was 87x100 and I used Anne Bright Design called Cotton Candy with Superior Thread King Tut called Flax. I will do the second quilt next month. Here are a few pictures of the finished quilt which I quilted and did the binding on it.

Todd's Modern Quilt
My friend, Paige made a beautiful modern quilt for her nephew, Todd. She found a pattern in a magazine and will ask her next time I see her. I love the colors she picked out. We picked out a pattern from Anne Bright Designs called Argyle and used Superior Thread King Tut Brandywine. The pattern name is "Abacus" by Bev Getschel which appeared in Best Modern Quilts 2014. Here are some of my pictures after quilting it.

Happy Happy Day
It is Happy Day and what makes me HAPPY is QUILTING!! I was asked by the college friend, Jan to make a quilt(wall hanging) with frogs in it which she collects anything. I found a cute fabric by Timeless Treasures with frogs on it. She lives in Texas so mailed it to her today.I used Anne Bright design Cotton Candy and Superior thread King Tut Autumn Days. Here are pictures of the 2 quilts:
Happy Day
Today is Happy Day and what makes me HAPPY is QUILTING!!! Last Saturday, it was International Quilting Day which I celebrated with my friend, Paige by going to EE Schencks Trends in Portland. It is the wholesale business which sells quilting fabric, books, patterns, notions, batting etc. We had a great day of shopping.
I finished a quilt that I started at the Winter retreat in January. The pattern is called Savanna by Karla Alexander. I used Anne Bright design called Flamingo Sunset with Superior thread King Tut Cleopatra. I'm going to enter this quilt at the Home Machine Quilting Show in Salt Lake this May. I'm attending this Quilt Show for the first time. Here are a few pictures of the quilt.

Desert Sunset
I finished a quilt top in November 2013 from a pattern called Desert Sunset. It was in the magazine Quilting Quickly Missouri Star Quilt Co. I finished the quilting on it in February. I used Anne Bright design Luna with my favorite thread Superior King Tut Cleopatra. I love this color thread and have used it in several quilts. I took some pictures of it today on the front deck.
